The cogeneration plant is remotely monitored and maintained by Cogent. We remotely monitor the plant for monthly billing and in depth performance analysis. Cogent's remote monitoring facility is able to monitor numerous parameters of the cogeneration engine, absorption chiller and switch gear. This data can be used for live performance monitoring and historical analysis, as well as predictive fault prevention. This allows us to send an engineer before a problem actually occurs, significantly decreasing the chances of failure.
All our engines are serviced and maintained by MTU Detroit Diesel Australia (MTUDDA). MTUDDA has factory-trained technicians and engineers offering 24/7 service within 19 strategically located branches around Australia.
Absorption chillers have only a few mechanical parts such as pumps, and hence are extremely reliable, however spares and trained maintenance staff are available in most major capital cities.
